Legendary Utah Pow: Solitude Ski Resort and Canyons/Park City Ski Resort, Salt Lake City, Utah

To celebrate Christmas, my family headed out to Park City, Utah for some epic early season skiing! Even though we’ve got Tahoe’s world class resorts in our backyard, there’s usually no snow on the mountains yet. Utah’s powder is legendary and, with it’s higher mountain altitudes, the Wasatch Mountains are already covered in snow. On the first day we hit Solitude Mountain Resort which has one of the highest altitudes and guaranteed to have excellent coverage. Small and intimate, you feel love you’ve got the mountain all to yourself. When in Park City you have to ski at least one day at Park City Mountain Resort, now combined with Canyons to be the largest ski resort in the U.S. With over 7200 skiable acres, there are unlimited options.
