Top Snowboarders Attempt The Highest Hand Plant Wall At Peace Park 2022 | Outside Watch

The Empire state building of wall rides has finally met its match. 😱
Peace Park has a beastly combined feature challenge for its competitors: Highest Handplant Wall and Highest Hip Air. It would all be considered fun if the 24-foot wall wasn’t 40-feet off the flats and the hip feature wasn’t a gigantic 70-feet long. Regardless, the men and women of Woodward Peace Park simply take it in stride as yet another mind-melter from snowboarding icon, Danny Davis. In the stop, one wild-card rider will reign supreme on the wall while endless boosts off the hip redefine the gravitational pull of the Northwest snowboarding scene. Commentary by snowboarding royalty, Todd Richards and Chris Grenier (The Bomb Hole), is not to be missed.

Celebrating 10 years of Peace Park, the 2022 Woodward Peace Park Championships at Mt. Bachelor, OR, expands upon the vision of renowned snowboarder, Danny Davis, for what’s possible on snow. Founded by Davis in 2011, Peace Park breaks traditional terrain park formulas in favor of reinventing freestyle terrain with a focus in transition, creativity, flow and fun. In collaboration with Woodward, this 2022 event challenges the world’s most progressive riders in the name of advancing the sport while also welcoming the wider Mt. Bachelor community to experience these innovative courses and outsized features firsthand.
